The Episcopal Chapel of the Good Shepherd, located on the grounds of The Chautauqua Institution, welcomes all to worship during the nine-week Chautauqua season.

Priests from churches throughout the world-wide Anglican Communion are invited to serve as chaplain for a week, making for interesting services and sermons.

Week 5; The Rev. C. Christopher Thompson, The Greenbrier Episcopal Ministry, White Sulphur Springs, WV

Week 6; The Rev. Cheryl Parris, Chaplain, Esperanza Prosa Psychiatric Rehab Program in the South Bronx, NY

Week 7; The Rev. Daniel Gunn, Diocese of New Jersey

Week 8; The Rt. Rev. A. Theodore Eastman, Retired Bishop of Maryland

Week 9; The Rev. Mary Ann Hoy, Diocese of Maine

In addition to summer worship services, weddings and baptisms and other special services can be scheduled at the chapel by contacting the Vicar.

This summer chapel is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York: www.episcopalwny.org  Oversight is provided by St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Westfield, NY and the Good Shepherd Board of Trustees. Funding for the chapel is provided solely through contributions by summer residents and visitors.

Applications for Episcopal Chaplaincy in 2016 are invited. Download the materials from the chaplaincy page and submit by September 2015. Once the Vicar receives confirmation from the clergy who have been selected, the list will be posted on this website following the current Chautauqua season.
